Job summary

CLMI Group is seeking a seasoned Asset Move Project Manager II to lead FF&E, relocation, and move-management for regional LACCD projects in Los Angeles. You will oversee budgeting, procurement coordination, and installation activities across multiple campuses.

The role requires 7-10 years of PM experience in move/relocation-related fields, with a degree in Architecture/Interior Design/Construction or equivalent combined with extensive experience; strong communication and proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction/PM or related field OR 11-14 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Ability to read architectural and furniture drawings.
• Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide FF&E and move-management services including programming, budgeting, procurement coordination, scheduling, installation, and punch-list activities.
• Coordinate with Procurement to manage FF&E purchasing using best-value or low bid contracting.
• Identify project scope, budget, schedule, and FF&E requirements with CPD/A&E team and BUGs; tour campus to understand Master Plan and project sequencing.
• Coordinate swing space needs, space removal, and scope of work for swing space.
• Coordinate IT equipment procurement and installation locations with the Technology Project Manager.
• Attend weekly project meetings to ensure FF&E specs, layouts, and lists for new and reused furniture; ensure coordination with A/E and BUGs.
