Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Relocation Project Manager to lead FF&E and move-management for educational projects in the Los Angeles area. The role involves budgeting, procurement coordination, scheduling with the construction team, and swing-space move oversight.

The position requires 12–20 years of PM/relocation experience, ability to read architectural drawings, and strong MS Office skills. A four-year degree is required, with AutoCAD/Bluebeam proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Construction/Project Management, Planning, Facilities Management or related area.
• 12-20 years of project management and coordination experience in Move/Relocation/Facilities/PM or related fields.
• Ability to read architectural and furniture drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Manage FF&E for new, renovated, and swing-space projects, including budgeting, procurement coordination and installation.
• Oversee move management: scope creation, bidding, bid analysis, budget tracking, and scheduling.
• Coordinate with A/E, college personnel, and BUGs to ensure FF&E and IT requirements integrate with project plans.
• Create FF&E budgets for each project and validate at milestones.
• Close-out and reporting activities for FF&E and Move services.
