Rice & Gardner, a subsidiary of Project Control and Raba Kistner, seeks a Procurement Coordinator in the Houston, TX area to support procurement and installation for FF&E, maintenance equipment, and technology for new and remodeled facilities.

Responsibilities include planning FF&E, maintaining vendor catalogs, preparing requisitions, and sourcing competitive terms while coordinating with program representatives to ensure equity and strong community relations.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED certification.
• 40 credited college hours or 4 years of experience in school business, governmental accounting, construction management or combination thereof.
• Possess a current valid state issued driver's license and meet company's auto insurability requirements.

Aufgaben

• Participate in the planning and creating of Furniture, Fixture and Equipment as needed.
• Assist with maintenance of current vendor list and catalog resources.
• Prepare and finalize requisitions for the timely order of goods and services.
• Identify sources to obtain competitive prices and terms.
• Maintain files on FF&E items ordered.
• Assist with reconciliation of vendor problems, including billing disputes and warranty service issues.
• Assist clients in accessing warranty repair services when applicable.
• Work closely with program representatives to help ensure equity.
• Promote positive relationships with schools, departments, vendors, and the community.
• Attendance at work is an essential function.
• Monitor assembly and installation of furniture at facilities, some may occur on weekends.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor, including assisting project managers during design, construction, and project closeout activities.
