Job summary

The City of O'Fallon is hiring part-time Festival Aides to support the Recreation Department during festivals and special events. You will help prepare and manage festival grounds, assist with light displays, and provide friendly information to visitors.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation and set up of festival and event grounds for Celebration of Lights.
• Researching and preparing for festivals and events, including our Celebration of Lights display.
• Installing, maintaining and/or repairing holiday lights.
• Painting and installing scenery.
• Providing security for the light display.
• Assuring light displays are in working properly, taking corrective action when necessary.
• Providing information and top notice customer service to patrons.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays is required.
• Works outdoors on rough, uneven terrain in all weather conditions.
