Job summary

The City of O’Fallon is seeking energetic Festival Maintenance Workers for a part-time role supporting the Holiday Light Display and other celebrations. The position involves outdoor maintenance, basic electrical work, and assisting with set-up and tear-down for events.

Candidates should be reliable, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, and possess a valid driver's license. Prior experience with lights and general maintenance is preferred; training and a friendly team environment are

Qualifications

• General maintenance experience is preferred.
• Electrical experience is preferred.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather and on uneven terrain.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and set-up/tear-down of festival and event grounds.
• Install, maintain, and repair holiday lights.
• Construct scenery for the holiday light display.
• Use basic hand tools to support maintenance tasks.
• Ensure light displays are functioning correctly and address issues.
