The City of O'Fallon is hiring a Parks Maintenance Worker I to upkeep parks, fields, and facilities. This full-time role offers hands-on work outdoors and a competitive hourly wage of 22.44–25.00 USD, with DOQ.

You’ll operate equipment, assist with irrigation, and support events year-round in O'Fallon, MO. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of groundskeeping experience, plus a valid Class A CDL or the ability to obtain one.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of groundskeeping or parks maintenance experience.
• Valid Class A CDL license (Missouri) or ability to obtain.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and various weather conditions.
• Experience in turf management for athletic fields or golf courses is a plus.

Mansioni

• Grooming and prepping athletic fields for games and tournaments.
• Mowing, trimming, seeding, and aerating turf areas.
• Maintaining park restrooms, pavilions, and playgrounds for public safety.
• Assisting with irrigation, minor construction projects, and playground inspections.
• Operating equipment such as mowers, backhoes, dump trucks, and skid steers.
• Supporting special events, festivals, and snow removal operations.
