The City of O'Fallon is hiring a Parks Maintenance Worker I to upkeep parks, fields, and facilities. This full-time role offers hands-on work outdoors and a competitive hourly wage of 22.44–25.00 USD, with DOQ.

You’ll operate equipment, assist with irrigation, and support events year-round in O'Fallon, MO. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of groundskeeping experience, plus a valid Class A CDL or the ability to obtain one.

What You'll Do

As part of our Parks Maintenance team, you'll help maintain and enhance O'Fallon's parks, athletic fields, playgrounds, pavilions, lakes, and green spaces. Your responsibilities will include:

• Grooming and prepping athletic fields for games and tournaments

• Maintaining park restrooms, pavilions, and playgrounds for public safety
• Assisting with irrigation, minor construction projects, and playground inspections
• Operating equipment such as mowers, backhoes, dump trucks, and skid steers

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• 1–3 years of experience in groundskeeping, parks maintenance, landscaping, or similar work
• Valid Class A CDL (or ability to obtain one) – Paid CDL Training Program available
• Positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and in various weather conditions
• Experience in turf management for athletic fields or golf courses is a plus
• Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid Class A CDL driver's license issued by the State of Missouri for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
