Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in customer service, patient navigation, or related healthcare role.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, insurance processes, and patient advocacy.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with EMR and healthcare software; bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for patients and guide them through treatment plans.
• Coordinate and schedule appointments, tests, and referrals.
• Assist with medical care understanding, insurance, and financial resources.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Educate patients on treatment protocols and self-care.
• Track progress and follow up on missed appointments.
• Assist with after-hours call coverage on rotating schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.
