Job summary

Boston IVF in Portland, ME, seeks a Patient Navigator (Certified Medical Assistant) for a full-time role. You will support patients undergoing fertility treatment, coordinate appointments, manage communications, and assist the care team to ensure a positive patient experience.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's degree or CMA certification, with EMR experience and strong communication skills. The position runs Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, with benefits and a patient-centered focus.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or CMA certification required.
• Experience in healthcare setting required; fertility experience a plus.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the patient’s initial clinic contact after scheduling.
• Help with portal enrollment and new patient paperwork before first visit.
• Document patient communication style and preferences for care.
• Assist with obtaining prior medical records and prep charts for visits.
• Schedule diagnostics and procedures; educate patients on timelines.
• Coordinate with care team on test results and next steps.
• Provide emotional support and share resources with patients.
• Maintain patient records in Artemis accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with staff to streamline patient care and communication.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and follow clinic protocols.
