Job summary

Everleap Fertility seeks a Registered Nurse for Portland, ME, full-time (40 hours) to support fertility patients throughout their journey. The nurse will coordinate care, educate patients, and assist with in-office procedures in a dynamic care team.

The role requires an active RN license, weekend/holiday availability, and EMR experience. BSN and ACLS/BCLS/IV certs are preferred, with 2+ years of nursing experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Active RN license without limitations.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BCLS/ACLS/IV certification preferred.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings – required.
• 2+ years practical experience working as a nurse – highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with coordination of care, management, and treatment of fertility patients.
• Implements Provider directives through management of diagnostic and clinical treatment plans.
• Provides care for assigned patients by applying appropriate workflows, policies, and clinical practice guidelines.
• Reviews medical records and lab results; ensures accurate data is entered into the EMR.
• Communicates test results and patient instructions.
• Provides patient education throughout all aspects of the treatment journey; educates patients on testing, treatment options, and Everleap processes.
• Maintains accurate documentation of patient care services in the EMR.
• Demonstrates skills and judgment to implement the plan of care; performs nursing interventions and procedures to promote patient care and safety.
• Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional support to patients; addresses anxieties and questions.
• Participates in education and training of nurses; mentors peers; promotes collaboration.
• Assists provider with in-office procedures as needed.
