Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support patients through their fertility journey. This full-time, onsite role offers Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, exposure to procedures, education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, taking vital signs, assisting with examinations, documenting in EMR, coordinating appointments, and providing patient education on

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Medical Assistant program preferred but not required.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong phlebotomy skills preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical healthcare setting, including patient care coordination or case management.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history, and update patient information.
• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Take vital signs, draw blood, and administer injections.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are stocked.
• Accurately document patient information in EMR.
• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medication protocols, and preventive care measures.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management and clinical supply ordering.
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
