Job summary

CCRM Fertility is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Clinical team in Denver. The role supports healthcare providers and patients, from vitals and examinations to minor procedures, documentation in EMR, and coordinating tests and medications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant diploma or certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ year Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination, including vitals, weight, and medication updates.
• Document patient vitals and encounters into EMR.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physician or NP.
• Assist with minor procedures and prepare procedure trays.
• Prep exam rooms and ensure readiness for appointments.
• Educate patients about procedures and provide pre-procedure information.
• Assist physicians with examinations and patient care.
• Maintain patient workflow to align with scheduling.
• Order and schedule lab tests; review results and annotate disposition.
• Order prescriptions/refills prior to procedures; notify patients on completion.
• Disinfect rooms after exams and prep for next patient.
• Maintain equipment, sterilization, and report supply needs.
• Order and maintain back-office supplies and reconcile receipts.
• Scan consents and reports into EMR.
• Monitor medicine cabinet and order medications as needed.
• Perform urine pregnancy tests and document results in EMR.
• Autoclave used instruments and maintain logs.
• Assist with maintaining clean patient areas and provide linens.
