Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. is seeking a Fermentation Technician for 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 6:00am–2:00pm) at our Mason City, IA facility.

The role focuses on mixing, fermentation, packaging, and warehouse operations to ensure production schedules and customer specifications are met while adhering to GMP and HACCP standards. Responsibilities include starting up and shutting down manufacturing processes, monitoring line parameters, performing lab analyses, and maintaining accurate production records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma / GED is required.
• Associate degree or technical certification in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Animal Science, or related field preferred.
• 3–6 years experience in manufacturing, feed production, or industrial setting beneficial.
• Experience with fermentation, mixing, or bulk material handling is a plus.
• Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mixing and fermentation processes to support production schedules.
• Oversee packaging, loading and material handling per SOPs.
• Receive raw materials and manage warehousing operations.
• Maintain log sheets and production records with accuracy.
• Adhere to GMP, HACCP, and feed safety requirements; follow PPE and safety rules.
