Job summary

Church & Dwight is seeking a Resource Operator for the 2nd shift at our Mason City, IA facility. The role oversees production, packaging, warehousing, and dryer operations, ensuring GMP/HACCP compliance and accurate log documentation.

You will lead production activities, act as supervisor in absence, monitor parameters, and support safety and quality across all processes. Prior manufacturing experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma / GED is required.
• Associate degree or technical certification in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Animal Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with fermentation, mixing, or bulk material handling is a plus.
• Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all production activities during the assigned shift, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
• Act as the primary contact and supervisor in the absence of the Operations Supervisor.
• Monitor production line parameters and manage packaging, warehousing, and dryer operations.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and feed safety requirements and SOPs.
• Oversee start-up and shutdown of manufacturing processes and maintain documentation.
• Perform maintenance and assist with lab analysis on raw materials and finished goods.
