Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager – FERC Pipeline Lead to drive NEPA documentation, environmental permitting and regulatory coordination across multiple pipeline projects.

You will manage end-to-end project activities, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with engineering, regulatory and client teams to deliver compliant outcomes. Occasional travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Biology, Planning, Cultural Resources or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in ecological or cultural resource surveys, NEPA planning, environmental analysis and permitting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NEPA process and complex environmental planning/compliance projects.
• Experience managing large, complex EIS documents for transportation or major infrastructure projects.
• Technical expertise in data presentation and environmental studies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Senior Project Manager for environmental permitting, NEPA documentation and studies.
• Lead teams through FERC environmental processes for assessment, reporting and permitting.
• Develop client relationships and identify new opportunities within the FERC pipeline program.
• Oversee proposals, cost estimates, budgeting, invoicing and project financial tracking.
