Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead and manage complex environmental permit, NEPA, and FERC projects from our Lafayette, LA office.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams and maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality environmental analyses and permitting documents. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in regulatory processes, project leadership, and proposal development, with a track record of mentoring staff and growing the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental planning, environmental science, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience leading environmental planning and compliance projects.
• Experience with NEPA, FERC, and regulatory permitting.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental permit and NEPA studies for large projects.
• Manage project scope, budget, schedules, and staff.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop proposals, scopes of work, and man-hours.
• Mentor junior staff and build HDR's environmental practice.
