Qualifications

• 5+ years in state/local disaster recovery programs administering FEMA funds.
• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Public Safety, Emergency Management, Disaster Management, or related field.
• Knowledge of FEMA disaster programs, including statutes, regulations, and policies, and related compliance/financial functions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team and coach staff; conduct annual evaluations.
• Evaluate client needs and engagement scope; oversee quality of deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with FEMA regulations and 2 CFR 200; assess audit readiness.
• Support closeout of disasters and client financial management activities.
• Identify opportunities for new or expanded services and assist with proposals.
