Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Staff Consultant - FEMA in our Government Services Practice in Houston. The role involves supporting FEMA-funded programs, ensuring compliance with 2 CFR 200, QA of deliverables, and aiding in complex disaster closeouts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in state and/or local disaster recovery programs administering FEMA funds.
• Knowledge of FEMA disaster programs, regulations, policies, and related processes in compliance/financial management.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field as listed in Basic Qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in maintaining compliance with FEMA regulations and 2 CFR 200, including assessing audit readiness.
• Assist in expediting complex closeout of multiple open disasters.
• Support client financial management and accounting functions, including time and cost unit operations, and cost tracking and reconciliation.
• Apply knowledge to determine method of program implementation.
• Ensure timely and accurate development of all client deliverables.
• Engage in business development activities, including identifying funding opportunities and proposal submission.
