Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Staff Consultant - FEMA in our Government Services Practice. This role focuses on FEMA-funded initiatives, including PA/IA, Hazard Mitigation and infrastructure programs, with emphasis on compliance and financial management.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ years in state/local disaster recovery administering FEMA funds, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Some travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of FEMA state/local disaster recovery program experience.
• Knowledge of FEMA programs, regulations, policies and related processes, and compliance/financial management.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in maintaining compliance with FEMA regulations and 2 CFR 200, identifying audit gaps.
• Assist with closeout of multiple open disasters.
• Support client financial management, including time/cost unit operations and cost tracking.
• Help determine method of program implementation using relevant experience.
• Ensure timely development of client deliverables.
• Assist in business development by identifying funding opportunities and proposals.
