Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Staff Consultant - FEMA in our Government Services Practice. This role focuses on FEMA programs and regulations, including 2 CFR 200, supporting state and local disaster recovery initiatives, and ensuring compliance across finance and administration activities.

You will assist with closeouts, time and cost tracking, preparing deliverables, and identifying funding opportunities. The position may require travel to client locations and occasional extended hours to meet

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in state/local disaster recovery programs administering FEMA funds.
Knowledge of FEMA disaster programs, related statutes, regulations, and policies.
Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Public Safety, Emergency Management, or related field.
Experience with compliance or financial management functions.

Responsibilities

Support clients in maintaining compliance with FEMA regulations and 2 CFR 200.
Assist with expediting closeout of multiple disasters.
Support client financial management and accounting functions, including time and cost tracking.
Contribute to method selection for program implementation.
Develop and timely deliver client deliverables.
Assist in business development through funding opportunities and proposals.
Occasional travel or extended hours as required.
