Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Staff Consultant - FEMA in its Government Services Practice. The role focuses on FEMA-funded initiatives and regulatory/financial processes across state and local recovery programs. You will help ensure compliance, manage financial aspects, and contribute to closeouts and deliverables.

The position involves supporting audits, coordinating program implementation methods, and contributing to business development efforts. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in state/local disaster recovery administering FEMA funds.
• Knowledge of FEMA programs, statutes, regulations, policies and processes, and related compliance/financial management.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field as listed in the job ad.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in maintaining compliance with FEMA regulations and 2 CFR 200; assess audit readiness and gaps.
• Assist in expediting closeout of multiple open disasters.
• Support client financial management including time/cost units and cost tracking.
• Use knowledge to help determine method of program implementation.
• Ensure timely and accurate development of all client deliverables.
• Engage in business development: identify funding opportunities and proposals.
