Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Read and speak English.
• Must be able to work an average of 50 hour weeks, including night, holiday and weekend when required.
• Must be able to operate forklift and maintain certifications.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follows SOPs for batching and pelleting and maintains records.
• Operates equipment and tools in all areas (computer, grinders, forklift).
• Prepares shift activity and production reports; tracks sampling and reconciliations.
• Regulates material flow to meet product specifications.
• Performs inventory of feed, bulk and micro ingredients.
• Maintains clean work area and supports coworkers.
• Keeps safety of employees and assets a priority.
