Job summary

Koch Foods in Attalla, AL, is seeking Feed Mill Maintenance Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will work with a team to keep equipment running, perform preventive maintenance, document work, and ensure safety procedures and regulatory compliance are followed.

The role includes duties across maintenance tasks in a fast-paced facility. The position requires hands-on repair experience with manufacturing equipment, ability to replace parts, and strong diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to replace basic component parts on equipment.
• Mechanical diagnostics and repair experience.

Hiring Techs for 2nd and 3rd Shifts

• Work with a team to ensure equipment is operational.
• Perform daily preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment.
• Record and document maintenance performed.
• Maintain cleanliness of maintenance shop.
• Follow proper lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Assist to ensure adherence to all company, state and federal regulations.
• All other relevant duties to the job.

Requirements

• Manufacturing equipment repair experience required.
• Ability to replace basic component parts on equipment.
• Mechanical diagnostics and repair experience.
• Knowledge of wire belt and plastic conveyor repairs, and sprocket alignment and installation.

Physical Requirements

• Constantly stand and/or walk throughout shift.
• Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
• Exposure to heat (99°F, 37°C) and cold (45°F, 4°C).
• Exposure to damp, wet and cold environments.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds, climb ladders and operate a pallet jack with 2000 pounds of material
• Ability to work at heights of 200 feet and in confined space
• Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
