Job summary

PIPeSTONE Nutrition is hiring a Feed Mill Administrator in Hopkinton, IA. The role focuses on daily accounting, inventory control, and administrative duties essential to keeping feed mill operations running smoothly.

You will handle AP/AR, reporting, and ledger activities, process receipts and invoices, and maintain inventory accuracy while collaborating with mill staff and vendors to ensure timely feed orders and closeouts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Agriculture, or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Experience with Ag Vision software is a plus.
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reporting, and general ledger activities.
• Process ingredient receipts, feed invoices, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Track ingredient contracts and facilitate corn contracts using Ag Vision Commodity Manager.
• Generate reports, weekly statements, and inventory reconciliations.
• Create records for PART and group closeouts.
• Assist mill staff with answering phones, taking feed orders, and supporting office operations.
• Build strong relationships with vendors, customers, and team members across departments.

• $22.00 - $23.50 per hour (based on experience)
