Job summary

PIPESTONE – Pipestone Nutrition in Brandon, SD, is seeking a Feed Mill Administrator to manage daily accounting, inventory, and administrative tasks that keep our mill operations running efficiently.

You will handle accounts payable/receivable, reporting, inventory records, and contract tracking, while supporting office staff and building strong vendor/customer relationships. Experience in accounting/finance and agriculture is preferred.

Qualifications

• Accounting, finance, agriculture, or business admin degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting functions including accounts payable, receivable, reporting, and general ledger activities.
• Process ingredient receipts, feed invoices, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Track ingredient contracts and facilitate corn contracts using Ag Vision Commodity Manager.
• Generate reports, weekly statements, and inventory reconciliations.
• Create records for PART and group closeouts.
• Assist mill staff with answering phones, taking feed orders, and supporting office operations.
• Build strong relationships with vendors, customers, and team members across departments.
