Job summary

PIPESTONE Nutrition is seeking a Feed Mill Administrator to support daily accounting, inventory, and office operations at our Brandon, SD facility. The role involves handling AP/AR, reporting, inventory records, and contract tracking while collaborating with vendors, customers, and mill staff to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate brings an accounting/finance or related degree or experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Accounting, Finance, Agriculture, Business Administration degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Experience with Ag Vision software is a plus.
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reporting, and general ledger activities.
• Process ingredient receipts, feed invoices, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Track ingredient contracts and facilitate corn contracts using Ag Vision Commodity Manager.
• Generate reports, weekly statements, and inventory reconciliations.
• Create records for PART and group closeouts.
• Assist mill staff with answering phones, taking feed orders, and supporting office operations.

In this role, you'll play a vital part in the daily accounting, inventory, and administrative functions that help keep our feed mill operations running efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Manage daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reporting, and general ledger activities
• Process ingredient receipts, feed invoices, and maintain accurate inventory records
• Track ingredient contracts and facilitate corn contracts using Ag Vision Commodity Manager
• Generate reports, weekly statements, and inventory reconciliations
• Create records for PART and group closeouts
• Assist mill staff with answering phones, taking feed orders, and supporting office operations
• Build strong relationships with vendors, customers, and team members across departments

What We're Looking For

• Accounting, Finance, Agriculture, Business Administration degree or equivalent experience
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
• Experience with Ag Vision software is a plus
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range

$22-$23.50hr
