Job summary

Far West Federal Holding, LLC is seeking a Training Specialist to coordinate workforce training, certification support, facilitation, and process-improvement activities in support of CBP programs. The role tracks mandatory training, organizes course logistics, and helps capture lessons learned to translate into practical improvements for the PMO and USBP programs.

Travel may be required to operational sites; a CBP background check and government approvals are required before start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; additional experience may offset education with COR approval.
• Three or more years of relevant experience required.
• Preferred: experience coordinating federal training and DHS FAC-COR or FAC-PM processes.
• Preferred: experience facilitating sessions and process-improvement efforts.
• Preferred: SharePoint content management and financial tracking experience.
• Strong writing, organization, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate PMO training execution and monitor mandatory CBP training.
• Support certification processes and assist with development plans.
• Manage training materials, registration logistics, and course research.
• Plan and facilitate meetings; prepare agendas and distribute minutes.
• Document lessons learned and help develop procedures for improvements.
• Track funding and budgets; monitor TRIRIGA costs monthly.
• Coordinate funding, updates in SAP, and travel-approval submissions.
• Engage with Mission Support staff to align training with program needs.
