Job summary

Angayut, LLC's Training Specialist coordinates workforce training, certification support, facilitation, and process-improvement activities for CBP under the PPMSS contract. The role tracks mandatory training, organizes logistics, and captures lessons learned for practical improvements.

Responsibilities include managing PMO training, certification processes, SharePoint content, registrations, and meetings. Travel may be required, with government approvals and COR coordination.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required. Additional relevant experience may offset the education requirement on a case-by-case basis with Government client and COR approval.
  • Experience: Three (3) or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Preferred: Experience coordinating federal training, certification programs, workforce development, and DHS FAC-COR or FAC-PM processes.
  • Preferred: Experience facilitating working sessions, lessons-learned meetings, and process-improvement efforts.
  • Preferred: SharePoint content management, federal travel systems, training-registration logistics, and financial tracking experience.
  • Preferred: Strong writing, organization, and stakeholder-coordination skills.
  • Schedule: Ability to work five eight-hour days, Monday through Friday, during Government-designated hours generally within 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time. No overtime is authorized.

  • Support Government employee certification processes, including DHS FAC-COR and FAC-PM, and assist with individual development plans.
  • Manage the Training SharePoint page and research courses, registration requirements, schedules, and logistical needs.
  • Coordinate registrations, travel-approval submissions, communications, and training documentation with Mission Support Assistants, Mission Support Specialists, and other staff.
  • Plan and facilitate meetings and working sessions with clear objectives; prepare agendas, maintain productive discussions, track actions, and distribute minutes and follow-up information.
  • Gather sponsor and stakeholder input, review reference materials, select appropriate facilitation methods, and document unresolved topics and process-improvement actions.
  • Plan and facilitate lessons-learned sessions, prepare findings for Government review, and help develop procedures for capturing, reviewing, and incorporating lessons across the PMO.
  • Support process-improvement projects arising from facilitated meetings and other assigned reviews.
  • Track funding and budgets for assigned training and facilitation work, prepare PRRs as directed, and track financial actions in SAP.
  • Coordinate available, expensed, and obligated funding when applicable; update related costs in TRIRIGA or its successor at least monthly and report funding and budget status monthly.

Position Description

Angayut, LLC's Training Specialist coordinates workforce training, certification support, facilitation, and process-improvement activities. The position supports U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) under the Program, Project and Mission Support Services (PPMSS) contract, supporting the Border Patrol and Air & Marine (BPAM) Program Management Office (PMO), U.S. Border Patrol (USBP), and Air and Marine Operations (AMO).

The specialist tracks mandatory training and development needs, organizes course and meeting logistics, and helps the Government capture lessons learned and translate them into practical improvements.

Travel

Travel may be required to operational sites, meetings, or other assigned locations. Travel requires prior authorization from the Government client and COR and coordination through Angayut and GBTI.

Eligibility Requirements

A CBP Background Investigation is required. The candidate must meet applicable Government suitability and access requirements, and the resume must be submitted to and approved by the COR and Government client before the candidate starts work.

Employment is subject to Government approval, successful completion of company pre-employment requirements, and authorization to begin performance.
