Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor‑led training for a Federal Government client’s customized construction management system. The role includes virtual and in‑person sessions for project managers, engineers, construction staff, leadership, and external contractors.

The position requires strong classroom facilitation, software training experience, and the ability to support large‑scale organizational change across multiple locations. 100% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; related experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; frequency varies by duties.
• Travel is essential to support geographically dispersed training teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training in virtual and classroom environments.
• Conduct training per approved lesson plans and guidelines.
• Respond to questions and provide functional guidance during training.
• Maintain classroom engagement and effective management.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate with Training and Program Managers on schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Collect student feedback and measure training effectiveness.
• Recommend improvements to training delivery and materials.
• Represent the training team to Government personnel and external stakeholders.
• Communicate with personnel at all levels.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployment.
