Job summary

HDR is seeking a Federal Business Group Technology Director to lead a broad technology strategy across HDR’s Federal-focused practice. You will drive innovation, alignment with Federal standards, and delivery excellence across HDR’s multidisciplinary teams.

You will collaborate with Federal leadership, corporate technology, and project teams to shape roadmaps, governance, and secure platforms, while mentoring a growing community of practice in AI/ML, cloud, and data management.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering technology strategy for multidisciplinary engineering or professional services organizations.
• Minimum 10 years of experience executing projects involving technological solutions within the Federal sector.
• Knowledge of Federal cybersecurity frameworks and requirements including NIST, RMF, FedRAMP, CMMC, and CUI.
• Experience evaluating technology, software development and deployment.
• Broad understanding of technologies and their applied delivery within Federal sectors.
• Experience in digital delivery, modeling, data architecture, cloud computing, AI/ML, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation of emerging technologies for Federal programs with metrics on adoption, efficiency, and value.
• Drive technology innovation to improve Federal program performance, resilience, security, and compliance.
• Represent the FBG in enterprise technology planning and ensure alignment with Federal requirements.
• Collaborate with HDR Technology Leadership Team to develop innovative solutions and boost ROI.
• Develop and maintain technology strategy roadmaps reflecting Federal priorities and modernization goals.
• Partner with Corporate Technology to ensure Federal compliant platforms and investments.
