Job summary

HDR is seeking a Federal Business Group Technology Director to steer the strategy and lead a team of experts implementing technology across HDR’s federal practice. You will collaborate with Federal leadership to identify, evaluate, and deploy technology initiatives that improve project delivery, efficiency, and innovation.

The role focuses on building a technology roadmap aligned with federal priorities, governance, and secure platforms while driving AI/ML, automation, and data-driven decision

Qualifications

• Experience leading technology strategy for multidisciplinary engineering or professional services organizations.
• Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience executing projects involving technological solutions within the AEC industry for Federal clients.
• Knowledge of Federal cybersecurity frameworks and requirements including NIST, RMF, FedRAMP, CMMC, and CUI.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation of emerging technologies relevant to Federal programs and establish metrics to evaluate adoption, performance, and value.
• Drive technology innovation to support Federal program delivery, including digital twins, analytics, automation, and secure cloud adoption.
