Job summary

HDR is seeking a Technology Director to lead the Federal Business Group’s technology strategy and delivery. You will collaborate with Federal leadership to identify, evaluate, and deploy initiatives that improve project execution, security, and innovation across HDR’s multidisciplinary teams.

You will champion digital transformation, secure cloud adoption, and compliance with NIST RMF, FedRAMP, and CUI requirements, while shaping long-term roadmaps and enterprise tech governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience in technology strategy and delivery for Federal programs.
• Knowledge of Federal cybersecurity frameworks including NIST RMF and FedRAMP.
• Experience evaluating technology and software development and deployment across multi-group programs.
• Broad understanding of technologies and their application within Federal sectors.
• Experience in digital delivery, modeling, data architecture and data management; AI/ML exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation of emerging technologies relevant to Federal programs and establish performance metrics.
• Drive innovation that enhances program performance, resilience, security, and compliance.
• Represent the FBG in enterprise technology planning and security posture alignment.
• Develop technology roadmaps reflecting Federal priorities and modernization goals.
• Coordinate with HDR leadership and stakeholders to guide AI/ML adoption and automation.
• Lead proposals for technology investments to improve quality and productivity.
