Job summary

HDR is seeking a Federal Technology Director to guide technology strategy across HDR’s Federal Business Group. You will lead a team of experts, coordinate with Corporate Technology, and align initiatives with federal standards and mission needs.

You will drive digital delivery, data governance, and secure cloud initiatives, while partnering with DoD, Civilian, and Intelligence sector clients to maximize impact and ROI.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technology strategy for multidisciplinary engineering or professional services organizations.
• Minimum 10 years delivering technology solutions for Federal clients.
• Knowledge of Federal cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, RMF, FedRAMP, CUI).
• Ability to translate complex tech concepts for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation of emerging technologies for Federal programs and set metrics.
• Drive innovation to improve project delivery, security, and compliance.
• Represent HDR’s FBG in enterprise technology planning and governance.
• Develop and align technology roadmaps across Federal Market Sectors.
• Collaborate with Corporate Technology to ensure compliant platforms.
