Job summary

HDR is seeking a Federal Business Group Technology Director to lead technology strategy across HDR’s Federal programs. The role focuses on driving innovation, digital transformation, and secure delivery for DoD, Civilian, and Intelligence sectors.

The candidate will collaborate with leadership to develop roadmaps, ensure compliance with NIST/RMF/FedRAMP/CUI, and guide the adoption of AI/ML, cloud, and automation across HDR’s professional services teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering technology solutions in multidisciplinary engineering or professional services.
• 10+ years of experience in AEC/Federal client projects.
• Knowledge of NIST, RMF, FedRAMP, CMMC, and CUI.
• Experience evaluating technology, software development, and deployment.
• Experience with AI/ML, BIM, cloud, automation in delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead Federal technology strategy across HDR's six Business Groups.
• Drive innovation for digital twins, analytics, automation, and secure cloud.
• Represent FBG in enterprise technology planning and governance.
• Develop technology roadmaps aligned with Federal priorities.
• Ensure platforms meet Federal standards and security requirements.
• Guide adoption of AI/ML tools and secure workflows.
• Lead proposals for technology investments.
• Coordinate with HDR leadership and external stakeholders.
