Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Subcontract Administrator to support contracts at our site. The role involves preparing contractor lists for RFPs, compiling packages, and reviewing bid tabulations while updating contract scope and terms.

You will manage award processes, ensure compliance with FAR/DEAR, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to finalize subcontract documents. Responsibilities include pre-award conferences, tracking deliverables, and ensuring safety policies are followed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field and 5 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Expert understanding of federal and state policies and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare list of contractors for RFP submissions and compile packages.
• Prepare and review bid tabulations; modify scope, terms, and commercial terms.
• Coordinate with disciplines to summarize bid proposals and obtain approvals.
• Conduct pre-award conferences with contractors and clients to align understanding.
• Award contracts via phone, telex, or letter; solicit, administer, and close contracts per FAR/DEAR.
• Prepare subcontract documents and track deliverables to contract requirements.
• Maintain safety procedures; participate in Safety Work Groups.
