Job summary
Appian is seeking a Solution Architect to join its Customer Success team to grow federal business. You will design integrated solutions using Appian platform technology, advise on architecture for government cloud deployments, and contribute to defense and civilian programs.
The role requires leading technical conversations, developing proposals, and working with customers to deliver secure, scalable solutions with DevSecOps practices. Expect 10-15% travel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Experience advising customers on design and implementation of government cloud computing platforms.
- Experience with architecting secure cloud hosting solutions for federal customers on AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Experience leading IT delivery using agile frameworks (Scrum/SAFe).
- Experience authoring federal proposals and whitepapers.
Responsibilities
- Advise customers on technical design, architecture and implementation of Appian solutions on private cloud, on-premise hosting, or integrating Gov cloud offerings.
- Support the sales cycle by crafting high-value, differentiated solutions and delivery roadmaps.
- Present and vet integrated solutions and complex technical concepts to customers and audiences.
- Support configuration, testing, deployment and operations of Appian applications using agile practices.
- Collaborate with clients on program aspects to drive technical success and governance.
