Job summary

Salesforce seeks a Principal Federal Compliance & Security Architect to be the chief technical authority for federal platforms. You will shape technical vision, bridge compliance directives with cloud engineering, and drive FedRAMP High, IL5 and DoD authorizations.

You will partner with Engineering and Product leadership to establish architectural standards, govern risk, and deliver secure, compliant platforms across AWS GovCloud and Azure Government while aligning with executive strategy

Qualifications

• 12+ years in security architecture, cloud engineering, or systems design.
• 5+ years leading federal compliance initiatives (FedRAMP IL5/Moderate, IL5 DoD).
• Experience with DoD SRG, NIST SP 800-53/800-37 RMF, FIPS 140-2/3.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern secure, compliant federal cloud architectures across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government.
• Lead architectural reviews, risk identification and remediation strategies end-to-end.
• Create SSPs, architecture specs, and portfolio plans for executive audiences.
• Partner with executives and 3PAOs to drive FedRAMP and DoD authorization cycles.
