Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Principal Federal Compliance & Security Architect to serve as the chief technical authority for our federal platform footprint. You will define and inform technical vision, bridge compliance directives with cloud engineering, and pursue FedRAMP IL5 and DoD IL5 authorizations.

You will partner with Engineering and Product leadership to drive architectural standards, translate NIST SP 800-53 and RMF requirements into scalable cloud designs, and communicate complex security

Qualifications

12+ years of experience in security architecture, cloud engineering, or systems design with federal focus.
Proven track record leading federal compliance initiatives including FedRAMP IL5.
Deep knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, RMF, FIPS 140-2/140-3 and DoD SRG requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead architectural standards for high-availability federal platforms with FedRAMP High and IL5 authorizations.
Translate regulations into scalable cloud architectures across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or enclaves.
Drive governance, risk mitigation, and security engineering across the platform lifecycle.
Advise executives and lead cross-functional initiatives for secure, compliant product delivery.
