Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. in Reston, VA is seeking a Sales Business Development Manager for the Federal Sales PMO. You will lead cross-functional teams, govern contracts and programs in NSO, and ensure compliant, timely delivery across US Government contracts.

On-site requirement: four days per week with travel to client locations in Virginia/Maryland. The role emphasizes risk management, executive reporting, and sales strategy alignment with program milestones, leveraging automation and AI tools;

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Federal Government Project/Program Management, Business Development, or Government Contracting experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph (CI or Full Scope).
• Experience leading on-site customer meetings and program reviews within classified US Government facilities.
• Knowledge of US Government contracting regulations, policies, and procurement frameworks (FAR/DFAR).
• Ability to work on-site 4 days weekly in Reston, VA and client locations across Virginia/Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and govern contract and program management policies, procedures, standards, and industry best practices across National Security Operations (NSO).
• Provide leadership and direction to project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure resource allocation for project delivery.
• Monitor program progress, identify contractual and operational risks, and design mitigation strategies for contractual compliance.
• Facilitate communication with federal partners and US Government customers and deliver regular status updates and executive reviews.
• Partner with sales leadership to align strategic sales activities with project milestones and drive PMO tool/workflow improvements using automation and AI.
