Job summary

Yates Construction seeks a Project Executive – Federal to lead executive-level negotiations, federal program acquisition, and deliver secure government facilities. You will manage EVMS, P&L oversight, and safety compliance across classified projects, communicating with federal agency leadership and prime partners.

The role requires extensive experience in federal construction, active clearance, and deep FAR/DFAR expertise to ensure profitable, compliant project execution.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in construction, 10+ years in leadership on large federal/secure projects.
• Active Top Secret/SCI or Secret clearance or immediate eligibility to reinstate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of FAR/DFAR and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and recruit/lead high-performing, security-cleared teams.
• Generate federal project leads and lead complex proposals and negotiations.
• Oversee pre-construction and startup with ICD 705 and scheduling.
• Govern P&L, EVMS, budgeting; visit sites to ensure safety/compliance.
• Maintain executive relationships with COs and agency stakeholders.
• Champion safety and Lean/Last Planner in secure workflows.
