Job summary

Yates Construction is seeking a Project Executive – Federal to provide executive leadership across federal program acquisitions, negotiations, and client relations. You will oversee management across departments, ensure FAR/DFAR compliance, and drive profitability and safety in classified and government facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years in general construction.
• At least 10+ years in construction management leadership on large federal/defense/secure facility projects ($100M+).
• Active Top Secret/SCI or Secret clearance (or eligibility to reinstate).
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Executive leadership and team recruitment for security-cleared project teams.
• Drive federal project acquisition, RFP/IDIQ/MATOC proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with pre-construction on estimates, ICD 705, baselining, and turnover meetings.
• Oversee federal project accounting, EVMS, forecasting, and P&L; monitor on-site compliance.
• Maintain relationships with federal COs, agency stakeholders, and prime partners.
• Lead Lean and safety initiatives (EM 385-1-1) and secure supply chain workflows.
