Job summary

W. G. Yates & Sons Construction Company seeks a Project Executive to lead for project acquisition, federal contract negotiations, and client relations across secure facilities. You will oversee multiple departments, drive growth, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR and safety standards.

The role requires 15+ years in construction with leadership in large federal projects, plus active clearance. You will manage budgets, EVMS, and P&L while coordinating with agency stakeholders and prime partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years of general construction experience with leadership in large projects.
• Active Top Secret/SCI or Secret clearance, or eligibility to reinstate.
• Proficient in FAR/DFAR regulations and USACE EM 385-1-1 safety standards.
• Deep expertise in executive negotiation and profitability considerations.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and alignment with company values.

Responsibilities

• Executive leadership and recruitment of high-performing, security-cleared teams.
• Lead federal contract acquisitions, RFP/IDIQ proposals, and negotiations.
• Oversee pre-construction activities, estimates, and baseline scheduling.
• Maintain P&L accountability and EVMS, with site visits for compliance.
• Manage relationships with federal agencies, COs, and prime partners.
• Lead Lean and safety initiatives, secure supply chains, and process improvements.
