Job summary

Yates Construction seeks a Project Executive to provide executive leadership for federal project acquisitions, negotiations, client relations, and program management across classified facilities. The role oversees multiple departments, ensuring FAR/DFAR compliance and safety standards while driving growth.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in construction with 10+ years in leadership of secure projects and holds clearance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in general construction with leadership in large federal/secure projects.
• Active Top Secret/SCI or Secret clearance or immediate eligibility to reinstate.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provides executive leadership and recruitment for high-performing, security-cleared teams.
• Leads federal project acquisitions, complex proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Oversees preconstruction and start-up, including government estimate work and schedule baselines.
• Manages federal project accounting, EVMS, forecast, and P&L; ensures safety compliance.
• Serves as primary executive contact for federal contracting officers and stakeholders.
• Champions safety programs and Lean/Last Planner implementation.
