Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support Fort Hood, TX on federal construction projects.

You will provide engineering, construction management, and contract administration, reviewing contractor performance, monitoring schedules, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements. The role involves collaboration with Government personnel, contractors, designers, and stakeholders to complete projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field required.
• 7+ years of engineering, construction management, or project management experience required.
• Experience with USACE/DoD/MILCON preferred.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS/UFC/EM 385-1-1 and other standards.
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to military installations.

Responsibilities

• Review QA work for technical accuracy and provide guidance on plans and codes.
• Review contractor schedules for conformance with method and contract.
• Document principal construction features and submittals for compliance.
• Maintain awareness of contractor activities to prevent delays.
• Assist in negotiation and change orders management.
• Consult in contract administration, construction management, and acquisition management.
• Advise Government on contract administration and federal regulations.
• Review proposed design changes to accommodate site conditions.
• Collaborate with contractor counterparts to ensure project success.
