Job description

STV is seeking a Federal Programs Executive Coordinator in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia.

This position reports directly to the Director of Federal Programs and requires strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and graphic communication. The candidate must be able to receive high-level directives and work independently to create organized process structures, communicate goals, and build consensus within the team.

The role demands adaptability to a rapidly changing federal landscape, critical thinking, strategic development, industry research, patience for long-term planning, and vigilance in monitoring and adjusting plans as needed.

This is a remote position with expectations for consistent communication via teleconferencing, phone, email, and chat services. Travel is expected to be between 10-20% for internal and external meetings, including regional and national conferences. In-person meetings are required with the Director or their designees at the STV Virginia Beach office in Town Center.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out the business development strategies of the Director of Federal Programs.
  2. Assist with research of federal market clients/partners and establish relationships and strategies.
  3. Analyze federal account plans, budgets, and develop target lists.
  4. Participate in proposal due diligence and coordination with discipline leads, marketing, and corporate resources.
  5. Assist the marketing team in preparing presentations and collateral.
  6. Manage logistics for industry events and client meetings, including developing event calendars, budgets, and coordinating internal teams.
  7. Establish and administer MS Teams channels and folder structures.
  8. Update CRM databases and reporting documents.
  9. Utilize GovWin IQ and SAM.GOV databases for research and coordinate data exportation to internal platforms.
  10. Schedule meetings and appointments, coordinate conference needs.
  11. Serve as a point of contact for internal and external groups.
  12. Manage team calendars and appointments.
  13. Assist with GSA schedule maintenance, responses, and reporting.
  14. Support corporate filings and compliance activities.
  15. Coordinate with communications teams to enhance visibility in the federal market.
  16. Log federal performance evaluations and maintain client response files.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 15+ years in Business Development, Marketing, or Strategic Leadership support.
  • Professional presentation in speech, dress, and public appearance.
  • 5+ years using GovWin and SAM.GOV.
  • Experience in SF-330 proposal development and federal procurement methods.
  • Independent, results-driven worker.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign.
  • Marketing professional credentials.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Business, or Engineering.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Experience in energy conservation or net zero development preferred.

Compensation Range: $95,453.79 - $127,271.72
