Job description

STV is seeking a Federal Programs Executive Coordinator in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia.

This position reports directly to the Director of Federal Programs and requires strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills. The candidate must be able to receive high-level directives and work independently to create organized process structures, communicate goals effectively, and build group consensus.

The role demands adaptability to a rapidly changing federal landscape, critical thinking, strategic development, industry research, patience for long-term planning, and vigilance in monitoring progress and adapting plans as needed.

This position involves travel preparation, including booking, conference registration, networking, and team events, with expected overnight travel of 10-20%. It is a remote work position with regular communication via teleconferencing, phone, email, and chat. In-person meetings are required with the Director or their designees at the STV Virginia Beach office in Town Center.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Implement the business development strategies of the Director of Federal Programs.
  2. Research federal market clients/partners and develop business relationships and strategies.
  3. Analyze federal account plans and budgets, and develop target lists.
  4. Participate in proposal due diligence and coordination with discipline leads, marketing, and other teams.
  5. Support the marketing team in preparing presentations and collateral.
  6. Manage logistics for industry events and client meetings, including developing an event calendar and budget, coordinating team participation, and establishing MS Teams channels and folders.
  7. Update CRM and reporting documents.
  8. Utilize GovWin IQ and SAM.GOV databases for research and coordinate data exportation to tracking platforms.
  9. Schedule meetings, coordinate conference needs, and serve as a point of contact for internal and external groups.
  10. Manage team calendars and appointments.
  11. Assist with GSA schedule maintenance, responses, and reports.
  12. Support corporate filings and CAGE code deadlines.
  13. Coordinate with communications teams to enhance STV's visibility in the federal market.
  14. Log federal performance evaluations and maintain client response logs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. 15+ years in Business Development, Marketing, or Strategic Leadership.
  2. Professional presentation in speech, dress, and public appearance.
  3. 5+ years using GovWin and SAM.GOV.
  4. Experience in SF-330 proposal development and federal procurement methods.
  5. Independent, process-driven, results-oriented worker.
  6. Excellent communication skills.
  7. Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign.
  8. Marketing professional credentials.
  9. Bachelor’s Degree in English, Marketing, Business, or Engineering.
  10. Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
  11. Experience in energy conservation and net-zero development preferred.

Compensation Range: $95,453.79 - $127,271.72
