Job summary

BigID is seeking a Sr. Solutions / Presales Engineer – Federal to join our Federal Solutions Engineering team in the Washington DC area. You will collaborate with U.S.

federal agencies to influence decision making, deliver tailored product demonstrations, and design hands‑on POCs in secure environments to prove value. You’ll own responses to RFIs/RFPs, address technical objections, and advise on architecture within FedRAMP, NIST, FISMA, and ITAR frameworks.

Qualifications

• Extensive pre‑sales engineering experience in enterprise software or federal space.
• Experience working with U.S. Federal agencies or defense organizations.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST 800‑53, FISMA, ITAR, and CMMC.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for BigID’s platform alongside Federal Sales during agency calls and procurement.
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations to technical and executive federal stakeholders.
• Design, build, and run hands‑on POCs/POVs in federal environments with security requirements.
• Own responses to RFIs/RFPs and related security questionnaires.
• Handle objections and competitive positioning in real time with agency customers.
• Consult on best practices for solution architecture within federal compliance frameworks.
