Halff is seeking a Deputy Practice Leader, Federal, to partner with the Federal Practice Leader in guiding strategic direction, growth, and practice-wide technical strategy. The role supports business development in the federal market, maintains agency relationships, and plans capture for sustainable growth of the practice.

The position requires 15+ years leading Federal sector projects and/or business development, with strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and risk management.

Formación

• 15+ years leading projects and/or business development in the Federal sector.
• Experience leading teams is preferred.
• License or certification required by professional in the practice (e.g., PE, AICP, PLA).
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field; Master’s preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Practice Leaders on strategy, growth and sales.
• Supports pursuits and execution of strategic, large, complex projects.
• Ensure alignment with federal regulations, contracting requirements and quality standards.
• Execute the practice's strategic vision.
• Develop pipeline and agency-specific growth strategies.
• Strengthen client relationships with federal agencies and partners.
• Lead targeted federal market sector, agencies or contract vehicles.
• Assist in identifying, recruiting and hiring within the practice.
• Coordinate staffing projections and work-sharing for federal IDIQ/MATOC/Task orders.
• Research market trends and develop focused marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with QA Manager to ensure QA/QC across the practice.
• Promote innovation, technology, and training within the practice.
• Mentor high-potential employees for succession.
• Monitor complex projects to assure staffing and expertise.
