Job summary

Halff is seeking an MEP Director, Federal to lead the growth and delivery of federal projects within its MEP practice. The role combines project leadership and business development to pursue and win federal opportunities.

You will work with MEP and Federal Practice leaders to expand the firm’s federal presence, build client relationships, and guide project delivery from concept to completion. A PE license and 15+ years of MEP experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading federal MEP projects.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-discipline teams.
• Strong understanding of federal procurement processes and contract types.
• Proven track record in capture and pursuit of opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager or Principal-in-Charge on federal MEP projects.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams delivering federal facility and infrastructure projects.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship throughout delivery.
• Lead capture planning for targeted federal opportunities.
• Develop teaming strategies and support proposal development and negotiations.
