Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive federal business development and leadership experience within the A/E industry.
• Proven track record in developing and executing capture strategies resulting in contract wins.
• Experience expanding A/E participation in federal design/build projects.
• Established relationships with DoD, federal civilian agencies, and/or federal prime contractors.
• Deep understanding of FAR/DFARS and federal acquisition lifecycle.
• Experience structuring strategic teaming agreements, Mentor-Protégé programs, and Joint Ventures.
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to travel 25%+ (Indianapolis HQ, client sites, industry engagements, etc.) required

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level leadership, vision, and strategic direction for the Federal Group.
• Lead the development and execution of the Group's annual and long-term business plans, including growth priorities and market strategy.
• Identify priority agencies, contract vehicles, and geographic markets.
• Shape investment decisions for federal expansion including staffing and partnerships.
• Establish priorities and performance expectations for Group leadership and hold teams accountable.
• Lead disciplined capture planning and go/no-go decisions for federal pursuits.
• Develop and manage complex teaming relationships with primes, sub-consultants, and Joint Ventures.
• Represent the firm at industry events and agency briefings; increase federal market presence.
